This salon is just THE most incredible haven nestled in the middle of town! As soon as you step in it's like instant calm - the therapists are all incredibly knowledgable, and so professional. Not only with the treatments themselves but with the support and aftercare you get too. Kay and her team are all so friendly and welcoming and the Relaxation Room is just the absolute hidden gem - I could stay in here all day! They really go above and beyond here to make you feel pampered, this is not your average salon, this is next level!!!

I was treated to a full body massage by my hubbie for my special birthday. Having recently moved , and new to the area I was a little anxious about the appointment. I had nothing to worry about, the Retreat Body Spa is a haven tucked away in Barnstable. The minute you walk up the stairs to reception, you feel relaxed and calm. I was greeted by friendly staff and directed to the relaxation lounge. Isla introduced herself to me, and we discussed my treatment. Isla is a brilliant masseur , using good pressure to relieve stressed and tense muscles. The ambience was relaxing calm and restful, with just the right amount of conversation. At the end Isla explained where and which muscles needed work, and was happy to advise on future treatment. I will definitely be back, and Thankyou for making me feel so welcome.
